We passed this sign on the side of a building tonight.
There have been many things on this trip than can only be tolerated by telling ourselves that it will be a great story someday.
Like canceling a snorkeling tour due to clouds.
Or discovering that on a cross country flight, out of our three adjoining seats, one had a working video, one couldn't process a credit card, and the third had a broken control so you couldn't get it to accept the credit card, or change the channel.
Don't get me started in the ill-behaved little three year old dictator that sat one row in front of us on the plane and her ear piercing shrieks.
Or this guy walking around the Gaslamp District
Or this greeting us this morning after our airbnb host assured is that parking was all set until 8 am.
Or having the smoke detector go off in the apartment, evacuating the building breathlessly down the stairs and through the "alarm will sound" door, only to see no one else outside.
Some kind residents told us it was probably just us. The alarm had stopped without incident.
And I was chastised by Seamus for not evacuating fast enough because I wanted everyone to have their shoes on, keys, and phone.
Or not being able to access a printer to take advantage of a great online deal for Seaworld, Seaworld not answering their phones indicated on the website, so driving to Seaworld to see if we can buy the tickets on my phone, only to find the ticket office closed after we had cleared security...
It would be really nice if things kind of sort of started going according to plan.
Keagan needs to have something on this trip go his way.
